7 District

Lars Grael together with Renato Moura won the championship of the VII district of the Star Class which took place in the Paranoá Lake, in Brasilia, between April 30 and May 3. There were 28 boats participating in the event, all of them competing for 5 entrees in the 2010 world championship. With this result Lars Grael secured his place in the worlds, that will happen in January 2010.

Taça Royal Thames.

This traditional star class competition in Brazil, is organized and promoted by the ICRJ and classifies the fleets for the worlds.

South American Championship

Sailors from Brazil, Argentina, Chile and the United States will be competing in the South American Championship of the star class, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro. Approximately 30 boats are expected, all of which will fight for the title of the best of the South American continent.
